NEW POSITION - experienced COOK/CHEF

FULL TIME: 5 days per week

 

HOURS: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8am-4pm and Sundays 9am -4pm (plus some bank holidays)

 

We are looking for a full time cook to join our small friendly team at our Farm Shop tea room. Running and working in a small, busy kitchen of 2, you will lead on all preparation and cooking of dishes.

 

 

  • You must have experience of working in a fast paced kitchen and cooking quality food in order to maintain our reputation.

  • You will cook and present all of our dishes in accordance with the menu using practices and methods appropriate to the dish.

  • Have the ability to modify dishes to meet customers needs and requests using your own experience and initiative.

  • You will also be required to monitor stock levels and freshness of food.

Skills required:

  • Prior experience is a necessity, the ability to prepare, cook and present food.

  • Food hygiene certificate level 2, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

  • Great organisation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Ability to remain calm with a proactive and positive attitude.

  • Good time keeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £9 depending on experience
