HOURS: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8am-4pm and Sundays 9am -4pm (plus some bank holidays)
We are looking for a full time cook to join our small friendly team at our Farm Shop tea room. Running and working in a small, busy kitchen of 2, you will lead on all preparation and cooking of dishes.
You must have experience of working in a fast paced kitchen and cooking quality food in order to maintain our reputation.
You will cook and present all of our dishes in accordance with the menu using practices and methods appropriate to the dish.
Have the ability to modify dishes to meet customers needs and requests using your own experience and initiative.
You will also be required to monitor stock levels and freshness of food.
Prior experience is a necessity, the ability to prepare, cook and present food.
Food hygiene certificate level 2, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Great organisation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Ability to remain calm with a proactive and positive attitude.
